New vice president hires for Wells Fargo

Wells Fargo has hired Michael Gull and Nicholas Granata to its global fund services division.

Both have joined as vice presidents of business development and client relations. Granata will focus on private equity and hybrid structure clients, while Gull will deal mainly with alternative investment clients in the US, working with the North American fund administration team.

Previously, Granata was vice president and global product manager for private equity and alternative investment services at BNY Mellon, and before this he held senior positions at Goldman Sachs.

Gull joins from UBS Fund Services, where he was director of business development, specialising in alternative investment and private equity managers. He has also held senior positions at SEI Investments, ALPS and Citigroup.

Both will be based in the New York office, and will report to Leslie Flaws, global head of client services.
